I know i kept watching movies these days but it's really becoz 'm such a movie buff. Today's agenda was nanny mcphee. Lol.

As it happens, i went past san bookshop and i couldn't help but take a look at the new arrivals. I know i shouldn't but i really couldn't resist the temptation. I bought 2 books. For my reading pleasure. Woo hoo. So happy at my purchase that i was on cloud nine the whole evening. I started reading when darling was eating his dinner already. I was that excited. =p

Nothing like a good book to appease my mood. =)

I caught russian dolls, the sequel to the spanish apartment, with darling. Coz at the last minute, justin's girlfriend wanted to meet him. The tickets were bought and we were already halfway into our food at tcc. I'm just glad that darling was willing to come over at the drop of a call. As his apology, justin gave us a treat to the movie. The irony was that the movie was not something darling would enjoy and justin really wanted to watch that. Lol.

The new cathay was already swarming with people that day. It sure feels good to be in a new clean cinema. Can you imagine the number of unwashed bodies that have transpired into the very seat you are sitting on? *gag*

Darling has been really nice to me lately. Coming over at night to accompany me as i do my work while he could have been at home sleeping away. And rushing over to accompany me when 'm going to be left alone by justin.

Ohh i like him so much! Hee..

Failure to launch is niceeeee! Or maybe 'm just a sucker for romantic comedy. Hee. Been wanting to try out imperial treasure for the longest time. I did and now 'm hooked to the shark's fin dumpling soup. In my personal opinion, imperial treasure is even better than crystal jade. Justin, justin, hurry up and send me the pictures....Or i will murder you alive..mwhaah

Met up with darling after that. Wanted to go to the thai fest at thai embassy but turns out there's nothing much to eat. Not like last time i went. I had such a fill.

Caught another movie in the end with darling. Coz wanted to spend more time together with him. *blush*

The hills have eyes. I'm not even going to mention now horrible it is. Yucks. Plus the cinema was so darn cold at that time. Added to my discomfort.

But one good thing came out of it. I bought darling a springfield polo shirt at isetan while waiting for the movie to start. He looked absolutely delicious in it! Lol. And of course i bought a little something for myself. =)

Before i forgot, who says singaporeans are rude and kiasu? This kind soul gave darling and me a coupon for free popcorn when he saw us standing in line to buy food. I know there are people like that still around. Hurry up and show yourselves to me! Mwhaah.

Finally sent my camera for repair at canon this afternoon. Now all i have to do is to sit and wait for the technician to call and quote me a price. I reckon the whole thing's really bleak coz there seem to be a number of problems. At this rate, i might be better off getting a new camera. =(

I scoured around the vicinity for cameras that are good and hopefully cheap and instead i found my friend! Lol. He SELLs cameras too. Woo hoo! He said he would give me a 13% rate. Hmm...doesn't sound half bad at all. =)

If i still have my camera with me, i would have taken a picture with coz he's 1.88 tall! *gasps*

Pi pi and me headed for the food fest held at suntec after leaving funan. We are the kind of people to be led by our noses, so to speak. =p It was a great experience, i tell you! Lol.

And i tried the famous ramly burger! It was pure heaven! *slurps*

Buffet dinner at sakura with my mok mok and three aunties. Didn't had much appetite. But i simply had to give everything a go as i was determined not to waste my mok mok's money. Had dory fish, lamp chop and chicken chop as my main dishes. Took a bit of everything else too. Yeah i was a little greedy. But i eat when 'm happy and i eat when 'm sad ok.

And i had lots of seafood. Damn it.

Serves me right. =(

What do singaporeans do most often when they go out? Answer: watch movies! Pi pi aka pui pui and me went to watch movie again. It's a trend. Without fail, we would watch a movie every week. Gosh, are we that boring already? We have got to find interesting things to do leh!

Anyway, we watched date movie. Yes it's hilariously funny AND lame. I'll give it 2.5 stars over 5. That's how lame it is. -_-

The next thing 'm going to lament about is the lack of interesting places to go to in singapore at night. Everytime we wanted to extend our date into the night, we would be stuck thinking where to go. Without spending excessive monetary resources, that is.

Argh!

I swear i'll think of something.

And so determined pi pi wanted to get my milkshake and waited more than an hour just for it. Yup the stupid machine was spoilt. Poor darling!

Had this insane craving for spicy korean noodles. Was paying at the cashier when i realized this sign that says 'nets above $10'. Yup, as it happens, i had no cash at all. In the end, i bought these.

From 2 or 3 packets at first to these. =( Nevermind, this is a perfect opportunity for ah pi and me to eat lesser outside. Now we shall endeavour to eat more at home!

I was jumping for joy when i saw this! My favourite chocolate milkshake is back in town! It's cheap and good but a little more expensive than last time. Tada!

Somehow, we ended up at tong shui cafe again. Lol. This time round, this is what we had.

thick toast with melted cheese over bolognaise sauce

chicken chop in black pepper sauce

mango strawberry snowy mountain

Let me tell you. The thick toast over melted cheese is the best! And its only $3.88! Lol. And i love the sunny side up!

Ah pi's really good at pool, me thinks. He managed to beat me time and again. Mwhah.
